Get in front of the camera sometimes!

Like the title says...get in front of the camera sometimes. Why...because all people might have to remember you by is a picture this old. That's me, the very tiny little one (July 4 1950). I think I still have the hat somewhere!

Now really, get in front of the camera more often. That guy holding me is my dad. He passed away in 1972 and we had very few pictures to remember him with.

Your picture does not have to be anything creative or fancy. Just get your picture taken. Heck, even if people laugh at it -- they'll be thinking about you.

By the way, I've gained weight since this was taken. Thanks for looking and reading.

Good picture or Bad picture?!

This picture is from a recent wedding. It was a moment in time and one of my favorite shots of the day. The picture so perfectly expressed the brides' emotion and tiredness at the time. I don't think she was even aware that her picture was being taken. So much the better in my opinion!

An observer of the photograph (not the bride or her family) did not think it was a good picture. The mother of the bride defended the shot with the same type of sentiment I expressed above.

What do you think?

Thanks for looking and "listening" as always.
